MarkeDroid, a fast-growing Estonian smart energy management startup, has appointed Agnes Roos, one of Estonia’s most highly regarded top executives, to its Supervisory Board. Roos’s extensive international experience in service and IT development, combined with her deep expertise in the energy market, will support the company’s ambitious plans for continued rapid growth and expansion into new foreign markets.

Toomas Kärner, Founder at MarkeDroid, noted that inviting Agnes Roos to join the Supervisory Board was a deliberate and strategic decision.

Agnes Roos brings to MarkeDroid’s Supervisory Board a wealth of experience gained from years as a top executive. She has led international IT development teams and served for a long period as the CIO and Member of the Management Board at Eesti Energia, where she was responsible for retail energy sales across all of the group’s home markets in the Baltics, Poland, and Scandinavia. Currently, Roos serves as the CEO and mentor at Tehnopol Science and Business Park.

The Supervisory Board meets regularly once a month to support the startup’s strategic management. In addition to Agnes Roos, the board includes Toomas Bergmann, Triin Hertmann, and Marko Virkebau.
