Kätri Kübar Steps into Co-Founder and Board Member Role

We are thrilled to announce that our COO and acting CFO, Kätri Kübar, has officially taken a major step forward, joining MarkeDroid’s ownership circle as a Late Co-Founder.

Over the past nine months, Kätri has been a driving force behind our day-to-day operations. By entering the ownership circle, she is locking in her long-term commitment to our mission of redefining AI-driven energy management.

• World-Class Rigor: Before joining MarkeDroid, Kätri honed her product and finance leadership skills at global powerhouses like Bolt, Wise, and NASDAQ.
• The Scaling Phase: She is already leveraging this invaluable experience to embed the operational rigor and clarity needed as MarkeDroid prepares to scale up.

Welcoming AI and Tech expert Luis Palomo as CTO

In tandem with expanding our management, MarkeDroid is excited to introduce and welcome our new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Luis Palomo.

Luis is a hands-on engineering leader specializing in AI, cryptography, and distributed systems. He brings an incredible track record of building healthy engineering cultures and scaling global products:

• Startup & Scaleup Expertise: Co-founded and led two tech startups in LATAM (focused on social networking and blockchain) and served as CTO of the Estonian company Synctuition for four years, managing an app with millions of downloads.
• AI Pioneer: Founded two AI-native startups in Estonia focusing on compliance and recruitment, with his insights featured by LinkedIn News.

Why MarkeDroid? Luis was drawn to the company because of its real-world impact, particularly at the crucial intersection of AI energy consumption and climate change. His top two immediate priorities will be accelerating MarkeDroid’s AI adoption and leveling up data engineering.

A Strategic Transition: Toomas Kärner Takes the Helm as CEO

This milestone marks a perfect evolution for our team, as co-founder and former CTO, Toomas Kärner, has recently stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
