Toomas Kärner, CEO

As one of the founding members of MarkeDroid, Toomas has been with the company since the beginning. He brings a proven track record of high-level business leadership, including his former role as Global Product Manager at Telia and Business Digitalization Officer at Enefit, where he managed complex product strategies on an international scale. At MarkeDroid, he leverages this management acumen to ensure our platform provides the scalable and secure business foundation needed to orchestrate millions of energy assets effortlessly, helping our partners achieve maximum efficiency.

Kätri Kübar, COO and Board Member

Stability is the backbone of innovation, and since joining MarkeDroid as COO and acting CFO, Kätri has taken on an expanded mandate that now includes serving as a Board Member. Drawing on her product and finance leadership experience from Bolt, Wise, and NASDAQ, she helps embed the operational rigor and financial clarity that serve as essential building blocks for our next phase of growth. Kätri’s focus remains on building the robust internal structures that allow us to innovate rapidly while maintaining the financial excellence and transparency that our partners and investors rely on.

Toomas Bergmann, Board Chairman

Toomas Bergmann brings a wealth of experience in managing critical technology and national-scale governance. Known as Bolt’s first investor, Toomas has a deep technological background stemming from a variety of leadership IT roles within Estonian government institutions. Having also served on the Supervisory Board of Milrem Robotics, he brings an “infrastructure-first” mindset to MarkeDroid, ensuring our platform is built with the reliability and security required for critical energy networks.

Triin Hertmann

Triin is a legendary figure in the global tech ecosystem. As an early employee at Skype and the first employee at Wise, she helped build the blueprint for how a startup becomes a global leader. Today, Triin serves as the President of the Estonian Founders Society, where she leads the community of Estonia’s most successful entrepreneurs. Her expertise ensures that MarkeDroid scales with the agility of a startup and the wisdom of a market leader.

Marko Virkebau

In the energy sector, technical innovation must be backed by financial strength. Marko provides that foundation through a unique blend of entrepreneurial and financial expertise, notably from his tenure as CFO of MM Group, where combined revenues exceeded $1 billion. This large-scale financial management is balanced by his success as a serial deep-tech entrepreneur and co-founder of Stargate Hydrogen – where he currently serves as CEO – Frankenburg Technologies, and MeetFrank. By bridging the gap between institutional financial governance and agile innovation, Marko ensures MarkeDroid is built for massive commercial scale and the long-term stability our partners and investors rely on.

Pille Vaheoja

To create the best service possible, we need to understand the markets better than anyone else. Pille brings specialized knowledge of the energy sector, having spent seven years at Enefit in leadership roles. With extensive experience at the Supervisory Board level within the energy industry, her deep understanding of energy trading and financial risk allows MarkeDroid to refine the algorithms that maximize your returns every single day.
